i saw wicked and the blue man group.  wicked=much better than anticipated.  blue man group=interesting, not funny (though my sister thought it was hilarious).
i also slept for about 11 hours on friday night. 
i fixed my schedule for next year.  my tuesdays & thursdays this fall are so light, woot.

not this weekend, but last, i went home.  that was fun.  then i house sat, which was good except for the nasty storm that stopped us from going to lake michigan on sunday.
2/3 letters of recommendation are done.  i want to read them.  but i had a big dilemma over whether or not to waive my right to view them.  then i waived it, so i guess i'll never know.

present dilemma:
this coming weekend
option a) assist with data collection on post-exercise hypotension in endurance horses all weekend.  live in pop-up camper with people i don't know.  not get paid, BUT, get my name in the publication.  i also know nothing about post-exercise hypotension.
option b) study my ass off for physics and finish my essays.
 
as much as i should do option a, and get the experience, i feel like option b will be more relevant to getting into vet school.  seeing as i need to chap some ass on my physics exam and my essays.  whereas i will get my name on a publication soon enough. 

august is going to be insanely hectic.  i have a terrible feeling that everything is going to be crammed into that one week where i am living at home/10 days.  but commuting to east lansing every day for work. 
aaaand i might be horse showing. hahaha.

i also have a new belle and sebastian cd, technically 2, consisting of 7 EPs, and i love it a great deal.
and and and, i found my highlighted volume of wasted.  i was quite afraid that i had lost it, or that it had fallen into the wrong hands.  but huzzah! it's alive and well-worn.
